You can never guess that this perfect neo-gothic modern Amsterdam hotel was once a conservatory. Located in the Museum Square area, the building was refurbished by Italian interior architect and designer Piero Lissoni, who gave the hotel a contemporary design while still retaining the charm of Amsterdam’s past history.
When you enter the hotel, you will notice that natural light is used as the main design element to highlight the contrast between the brick structure of the building and the black onyx atrium. The atrium’s steel staircase and multiple walking trails are like the modern Hogwarts.
The hotel has 129 deluxe rooms (half of which have high ceilings, oversized windows and exposed beams) and are equipped with meeting space. There is also a wellness centre, swimming pool, restaurant, bar and lounge.
